Event noise
A noise spread calculation and a measurement plan are often needed for the application to the authorities.
A noise spread calculation and a measurement plan are often needed for the application to the authorities. Also measurements during the event are often needed if the event continues after 10 p.m. Akukon has extensive experience of these over several decades.
For the noise spread calculation or assessment, we use the latest calculation tools and the know-how we have accumulated over two decades. The spread of noise is significantly affected by the conditions during the event, which rarely meet the measurement standard.
The measurement plan is drawn up together or separately with the spread calculation. For the measurement plan, the closest sensitive objects must be identified, on the basis of which the noise load caused by the event in other parts of the environment can be effectively assessed. The measurement plan is drawn up as part of the application submitted to the authority.
The noise measurements made during the event are usually carried out in accordance with the measurement plan either as continuous monitoring measurements or by performing point-specific measurements in the environment and scaling the results to cover the entire duration of the event. During the measurements, the noise level is monitored and any exceeding of the limit value is informed to the event organizer in live time. The measurement results are reported within the given deadline after the event, and they are compared to any given limit value. The report is prepared so that it can be submitted to the authority as is.
